A Few Words

I discovered the creative side of woodworking early during my apprenticeship with Local 27 Carpenters Union.  Over the years I’ve built up the tools and space to create my own workshop.  My first projects were for the most discerning of clients:  my wife Linda.   From then on each quiet time between heavy construction jobs gives me time to build.

I enjoy the entire process:  from initial ideas to final product.  I buy rough sawn lumber from local suppliers and mill it in my shop.

My last heavy construction job – almost 1 year building a dam in the lower Mattagami River just south of James Bay – made it clear where my passion lies; building unique creations that delight the eye, are firm to the touch, and have purpose in your life is what I love to do!
